Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for optimal flavor and juiciness)

8 slices of bacon, chopped

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and black pepper, to taste

12 slider buns (preferably potato or brioche)

¼ cup mayonnaise

¼ cup ketchup

¼ cup mustard

Fresh lettuce leaves, for garnish

Slices of tomato, for garnish

Pickles, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

Cook the Bacon: In a large skillet, heat over medium heat. Add the chopped bacon and sauté until it becomes crispy, stirring occasionally. Once cooked, use a slotted spoon to transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess grease.

Prepare the Beef Mixture: In a large mixing bowl, add the ground beef along with the crispy bacon, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and black pepper. Using your hands, mix gently until everything is just combined—avoid overmixing to keep the patties tender.

Form the Patties: Divide the beef mixture into 12 equal portions. Shape each portion into a patty that is slightly larger than the slider buns, as they will shrink during cooking. Set aside the patties on a plate.

Cook the Sliders: Return the skillet to medium-high heat (draining excess grease if necessary). Once hot, add the slider patties and cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side, or until they develop a nice brown crust. Flip each patty, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each one, and continue to cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese melts and the burgers reach an internal temperature of 160°F.

Prepare the Buns: While the sliders are cooking, take another skillet or grill and toast the slider buns until they are golden brown and crispy. This adds a wonderful texture to the sliders.

Assemble the Sliders: On the bottom halves of the toasted buns, spread an ample layer of mayonnaise, followed by ketchup and mustard. Place a cheesy bacon cheeseburger patty on each bun, then add a crisp lettuce leaf, a fresh slice of tomato, and decorative pickles if you like. Finish by capping each with the top half of the bun.

Serve: Arrange the assembled sliders on a serving platter and enjoy immediately while they’re warm and luscious!
