Ingredients

8 ounces penne pasta

1 cup sliced salami

1 cup sliced pepperoni

1 cup diced ham

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1 cup pitted olives, chopped (green or black, as preferred)

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup shredded provolone cheese

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for a kick)

1 cup marinara sauce

1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped (for garnish)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

Preheat Oven: Begin by preheating your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente (usually about 8-10 minutes). Once cooked, drain the pasta thoroughly and set aside.

Prepare the Sauce: In a spacious mixing bowl, combine the marinara sauce with garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. If you like a bit of heat, add the red pepper flakes as well. Stir the mixture well until all ingredients are fully blended.

Combine Ingredients: Add the drained pasta to the sauce mixture, followed by the sliced salami, pepperoni, diced ham, halved cherry tomatoes, and chopped olives. Reserve half of the mozzarella and provolone cheese for topping. Gently fold everything together until the pasta and other ingredients are evenly coated in the sauce.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the combined pasta mixture into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Spread it out evenly with a spatula to ensure even cooking.

Cheese Topping: Generously sprinkle the reserved mozzarella and provolone cheese over the top of the pasta mixture, ensuring it’s evenly covered for a delicious cheesy crust.

Bake: Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil to keep the moisture in. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes. After this initial baking time, carefully remove the foil and continue baking for another 10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and has turned a lovely golden brown.

Garnish and Serve: Once out of the oven, allow the pasta bake to cool for a few minutes. Just before serving, garnish with freshly chopped basil for a fresh flavor enhancement and an appealing touch.

Enjoy your Easy Charcuterie Board Pasta Bake as a delightful crowd-pleaser perfect for family dinners or lively gatherings!
