Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)

1/4 cup Dijon mustard

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, finely chopped)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Lemon wedges, for serving

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Preheat the Oven: Begin by setting your oven to 400°F (200°C). To make cleanup a breeze, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Prepare the Marinade: In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, and thyme. Whisk the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and well blended. Taste and adjust the seasoning with salt and black pepper.

Marinate the Salmon: Arrange the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Using a brush or a spoon, generously coat the top of each fillet with the honey mustard mixture. Ensure that each fillet is evenly covered for optimal flavor.

Bake the Salmon: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily when tested with a fork. Keep in mind that cooking times may vary based on the thickness of the fillets, so check for doneness.

Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve alongside fresh lemon wedges for a bright finish. If desired, sprinkle with chopped parsley for added color and freshness.

Enjoy the Dish: This delectable baked salmon pairs well with sides such as roasted seasonal vegetables, fluffy quinoa, or a crisp garden salad for a complete meal experience.
