For the Strawberry Batter:

¾ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon baking soda

¼ teaspoon salt

1 large egg

⅓ cup whole milk

¼ cup unsalted butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ cup fresh strawberries, pureed

Instructions

Prepare Your Oven and Muffin Tin:

    - Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners or lightly grease each cup with cooking spray or melted butter.

      Make the Vanilla Batter:

        - In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

          - In a separate bowl, beat together the egg, whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Pour this wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined—taking care not to overmix to keep the batter light.

            Prepare the Chocolate Batter:

              - In another mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

                - In a different bowl, whisk together the egg, whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth. Add this wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.

                  Make the Strawberry Batter:

                    - Combine the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl and whisk together.

                      - In another bowl, mix the egg, whole milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Stir in the pureed strawberries until well blended. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

                        Layer the Batters:

                          - Using a spoon or a small ice cream scoop, fill each muffin cup in the tin with equal portions of the batters. Start with a layer of vanilla batter, followed by a layer of chocolate batter, and then finish with a layer of strawberry batter. Repeat this process until each muffin cup is filled to about ¾ full.

                            Swirl for a Marbled Effect:

                              - To create a beautiful marbled pattern, take a toothpick or a skewer and gently swirl it through the layers of batters, being careful not to overmix.

                                Bake:

                                  - Place the muffin tin into the preheated oven and bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

                                    Cool and Serve:

                                      - Once baked, remove the muffin tin from the oven and allow the muffins to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes. Carefully transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

                                        Enjoy!

                                          - Serve your delightful Neapolitan Cake Muffins warm or at room temperature. These muffins offer a delightful fusion of flavors that is sure to please!
