1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, diced into bite-sized pieces

2 cups broccoli florets (can use fresh or frozen)

8 oz fettuccine pasta

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to desired spice level)

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Cook the Pasta and Broccoli: Fill a large pot with water, add a generous pinch of salt, and bring to a rolling boil. Once boiling, carefully add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until it reaches an al dente texture. With 2 minutes of cooking time left, add the broccoli florets directly to the pot. Once cooked, drain the pasta and broccoli, then set aside.

    Sauté the Chicken: In a large skillet set over medium heat, pour in the olive oil. Wait until it shimmers, then add the diced chicken. Season the chicken with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 6-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is evenly cooked and golden brown. Once done, transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and set aside.

      Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: In the same skillet, keeping the flavorful drippings, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant but not browned.
